Jim Ennis, Everett/Cascade football and basketball Sport: Basketball/football Local connection: Everett High and Cascade, coach Best known as: Longtime football coach Era: 1939 through 1970s Coaching bio Late in his life, Ennis was known as the father of legendary football coach Terry Ennis. But he had quite a career of his own, and not just on the sidelines of football games. His only official state title actually came as a basketball coach, when he led Everett High to the 1940 championship. But Ennis also coached an Everett football team that earned a No. 1 state ranking after the 1952 season.
