Tania Opland--A Musical Tribute to Winter
Tania Opland taps into world musical traditions of Winter renewal, using voice, guitar, drum, whistle, hammered dulcimer, hurdy-gurdy, mandolin, violin, and a few surprises. She is accompanied by Mike Freeman.
Opland has toured and recorded for more than two decades. She has recorded four solo albums, to critical praise both here and in Europe. In 2010, she recorded “Winter’s Time,” a collection of winter songs of Europe and America. She has appeared on radio and television in the U.S., Canada, Russia, Uzbekistan, Scotland, Ireland and England.
