Special Olympics Polar Plunge imagePolar Plunge is a fundraising effort organized by law enforcement agencies throughout the state benefiting Special Olympics Washington.

Polar Plunge is a unique opportunity for individuals, organizations and businesses to support local Special Olympics athletes by collecting pledges and plunging into various frigid water locations across Washington State. Who can take the plunge? Anyone with a little courage, a warm heart and a desire to support a worthy cause is welcome! Too Chicken to Plunge? Cheer on from the sidelines in the “Chicken Coop.” You can still raise money, win prizes and make a difference in the lives of local athletes. Event Schedule Check-In: 10:00 am - 11:00 am Costume Contest: 11:30 am Plunge: 12:00 pm Contact Info Mary Do mdo@sowa.org Plunger Registration: No Fees Raise $75 or more, receive a t-shirt (unisex), earn prizes and take a dip in the frigid waters of South Lake Union! Chicken Coop Registration: No Fees Raise $75 or more, receive a t-shirt (unisex), earn prizes without taking the Plunge! Virtual Registration: No Fees Raise money for Special Olympics Washington athletes and earn prizes without being a Plunger or a Chicken.
