Wildlife on the PAWS campus

It’s been a beautiful fall here on the PAWS Campus with the locally abundant red alders and bigleaf maples turning lovely shades of gold. The bigleaf maple leaf in this photo got hung up on the branch of a smaller-leafed relative, a Vine Maple, on its way to the ground. After photographing the leaf and bringing the image up on my monitor, a co-worker mentioned that it looks like the leaf has a face. Do you see it? (Kevin Mack / PAWS)
