SNOHOMISH – The Snohomish Panthers clinched a 4A District 1 playoff spot with a convincing 64-48 Western Conference North Division victory over Arlington Tuesday night.
With the victory, Snohomish remained in a three-way tie for second place with Mount Vernon and Marysville-Pilchuck, a game behind Cascade with one league game still to play for each.
Nate Van Duine and Jon Brockman combined to score all 15 of the Panthers’ third-quarter points as Snohomish built an 11-point lead it would not relinquish. Brockman finished with a game-high 30 points. Kenny Gunter paced the Eagles with 13 points.

The Bulldogs were led by Justin Burns, who scored a game-high 18 points and grabbed six rebounds, and Ryan Kendrick, who had 17 points and five steals. The Wildcats’ Marc Ferguson scored a team-high 17 points.

Lake Stevens 58, Monroe 53: Lake Stevens’ Sean Tennant set a school record with 26 rebounds and scored a team-high 19 points to lead the Vikings to the Wesco North win. Josh Rojas chipped in 16 points and Jeremy Roe added six points and 10 assists for Lake Stevens. Monroe’s Tyler Marley scored 14 of his game-high 21 points in the first half.
