    Cascade's Team of the 1990s

One of Terry Ennis' final wishes was finally fulfilled Friday night.

Before the Cascade versus Arlington football game at Everett Memorial Stadium, Cascade announced its Team of the '90s, which features the top gridiron players who competed for Ennis at Cascade High School between 1989-1999, as determined by a selection committee of coaches and former players.

The team includes former Bruins stars like Grady Sizemore, Touré Butler, Austin Matson, Jerry Jensen and Adam Snel. Many of non-local honorees flew in from across the country to watch the Cascade-Arlington game and have a brief reunion.

The idea to select the squad came from Ennis, who guided Cascade from 1988-1998 and last month died of cancer. His teams won 10 Western Conference championships, made ten consecutive state playoff appearances and won a state title in 1991. In July Ennis asked current Cascade head coach Jake Huizinga and others to honor those remarkably successful teams by compiling the Team of the 90's.

Here is the final list of 46 players who made the cut, organized by position, name and graduation year.

Note: Several players were picked for more than one position.
