Today's Meetings

Arlington City Council, 7 p.m. tonight, City Council Chambers, 110 E. Third St. The council plans to discuss the First Street sewer extension project.

Everett Planning Commission, 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the hearing room on the eighth floor of the Wall Street Building, 2930 Wetmore Ave. The commission plans to vote on a change that would allow backyard accessory buildings to be taller than rules currently allow.

Lake Stevens City Council special meeting, 7 p.m. tonight, Lake Stevens School District administration building, 12309 22nd St. NE. The council plans to consider final passage of an ordinance banning tobacco use in city parks. More info: 425-334-1012.

Marysville City Council special meeting, 7 p.m. tonight, City Hall, 1049 State Ave. The council plans to consider an agreement with Chelan County to house inmates at the Chelan County Regional Justice Center. More info: 360-363-8000.

Mountlake Terrace City Council, 7 p.m. tonight, Civic Center, 23204 58th Ave. W. The council plans to discuss awarding community grants to several local organizations.

Mukilteo City Council, 7 p.m. tonight, City Hall, 4480 Chennault Beach Road. The council plans to discuss what to do with Rosehill Community Center.
