Public Meetings

Edmonds City Council, 7 tonight, Public Safety Complex, 250 Fifth Ave. N. The council plans to discuss the city's environmental policies.

Everett City Council, 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Everett City Council Chambers, 3002 Wetmore Ave. The Council is scheduled to vote on whether to award CNJA Architects of Everett an additional $93,400 for the design of a new animal shelter. The Council in December approved adding $133,305 to the original $348,267 design contract.

Granite Falls Planning Commission, 7 tonight, City Hall, 206 S. Granite Ave. Applications for business licenses are scheduled to be discussed.

Marysville Planning Commission, 7 tonight, City Hall, 1049 State Ave.

Snohomish Economic Development Committee, 4 p.m. today, Snohomish City Hall, 116 Union Ave. The group is set to elect its new chairwoman or chairman.

Snohomish County Council, 9 a.m. today, eighth floor county administration building, 3000 Rockefeller Ave., Everett. The council planning committee plans to discuss more than three dozen land-use changes as part of the annual comprehensive plan update. The full agenda and documents are at www.snoco.org.
