Celebrations

Finlayson

Dennis and Linda Finlayson celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary with a two-month RV trip to the Palm Springs, Calif., area; Nevada; and their honeymoon site in Lincoln City, Ore.

The couple were married March 20, 1973, in Seattle.

Linda was born and raised in Everett. Dennis was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

They met and married in Seattle and moved to Everett in 1999 to enjoy their retirement years.

Dennis and Linda have three children who all live in Everett and three grandchildren.



Moa

Richard and Rose Moa of Camano Island celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a Mexican cruise. They also had a small celebratory dinner with their daughters and their spouses when they returned home.

The couple were married April 19, 1958, at Assumption Catholic Church in Seattle.

Richard and Rose met in Seattle on a blind date. Rose asked Richard to marry him as he had a ring for her but hadn't gotten around to proposing.

Richard and Rose have five daughters, 12 children, and 13 great-grandchildren.



Bess

Cathy and Clayton Bess of Lake Stevens celebrated their 50th anniversary on May 10.

The couple were married May 3, 1958, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

Cathy and Clayton grew up together in Clearview.

They have three children and four grandchildren.
