Joe Wilson will seek the Snohomish County Superior Court seat of Judge Richard Thorpe, who has announced he will not try for another four-year term. Wilson, 47, is a general practitioner with a private office in Everett. Anyone who wishes to attend the reception is asked to RSVP to Kirk Shirley at 206-364-2344 or kirkshirley@comcast.net. Wilson is one of at least three lawyers who have designs on the job. The others include Jim Johanson of Edmonds and George Appel, a deputy prosecuting attorney.
