Opening night

Posted at 4:08 pm

Well, it's here. We're about half hour away from kickoff of the 2008 NFL season.

The Giants and Redskins square off tonight in a battle between NFC East rivals Defending Super Bowl champs, the New York Giants, begin their "Fluke Rebuke" as the New York Post stated in a game that should be a low scoring affair. Should be fun.

Here's an interesting article about how the Giant's are going into tonight's game a little perplexed at what to expect from Jim Zorn (http://tinyurl.com/643ata)

Also remember our old friend Shawn Springs. Apparently he's the 'glue' of Washington's defense (http://tinyurl.com/62nfb5). That can't be good.

Check back later as I'm going to try and boot up some new software for a live blog during the opener. No promises to if it will work or not, but if it does feel free to send some comments.
