Reader poll: Offensive Football Player of the Year?

Every year at The Herald we honor an All-Area Offensive Football Player of the Year.

To determine the winner, we sort through a season’s worth of outstanding performances and seek direction from coaches.

Now that the 2008 football season is about halfway over, I’ve been thinking about which players have a shot at receiving the All-Area Offensive POY honor this time. We won’t make our choice until late November or early December. But in the meantime, let’s start the conversation.
