Comedian and award-winning juggler Dana Tison plans to provide entertainment.

The first 150 children at the 11 a.m. seating will have a chance to win a new Nintendo Wii system. The dinners feature drawings for $50 Toys R Us gift certificates, prizes, family photo sessions, children's crafts and gifts and a food and clothing bank. A group of downtown Everett churches invites the public to a community Thanksgiving service from noon to 12:30 p.m. Nov. 26 outside the Snohomish County Courthouse, 3000 Rockefeller Ave., Everett.

The service offers the community a time to express gratitude. The participants will come from many churches as well as Naval Station Everett, Word of Truth Christian Center, Everett Community Church and First Baptist Church.

Church of Jesus Christ of ­Latter-day Saints plays host to a Thanksgiving benefit concert at 7 p.m. Nov. 23 at 10120 Chapel Hill Road, Lake Stevens.

The concert features a choir, soloists, a music ensemble, including organ, piano, harp, flute, oboe, bagpipe, percussion and timpani, performing folk hymns and an Americana repertoire.

Organizers plan to collect food for Lake Stevens food banks.

Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Maltby plays host to Tesfai Tesema and his wife Abeda at 8, 9:30 and 10:45 a.m. Sunday at 9225 212th St. SE, Snohomish.

Tesema is a missionary pastor in the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod, who is originally from Ethiopia. His wife, Abeda, is from Eritrea. The couple founded a congregation in the Sudan in the early 1980s and helped lead another church in San Jose, Calif., from 1989 to 2003. Since 2006, Tesema has worked as the western United States coordinator for African Immigrant Ministry for the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod.

Catholic radio program "Conversations with Father Bob" features Robert Stackpole, who plans to discuss his latest book on divine mercy. The program is scheduled for today, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday on Christian radio stations.

Stackpole is the professor of theology at Redeemer Pacific College in British Columbia. Also joining Father Bob Camuso is Matthew Loucks, the new pastoral assistant for music and liturgy at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Seattle.

Warm Beach Christian Camp and Conference Center invites volunteers to its Thanksgiving Working Weekend Nov. 27-30 to help prepare for its annual holiday tradition, The Lights of Christmas. Volunteers are needed to help transform the grounds into a holiday wonderland. Projects will include hanging lights, setting up indoor and outdoor displays, helping with last-minute touches and decking the halls with lights, murals, garland, wreaths, ribbon and holly.
