A new name in the coaching search?

Posted at 6:15 pm by John Boyle

We've all heard names like Mora, Pinkle, Tedford, Petterson, etc. when people talk about the next coach football coach at Washington, but according to Rivals.com, we can now add Notre Dame offensive coordinator Mike Haywood to the list of candidates.

Rivals is reporting that Haywood in in Seattle to talk to UW officials about the job.

Haywood worked on the LSU coaching staff from 1995-2002, which is worth noting since UW president Mark Emmert and athletic director Scott Woodward both worked at LSU while Haywood was there.
