Concert presales: Death Cab, 311, Jonas Brothers

Stoners, indie rockers and tweens will probably swamp Ticketmaster’s site this week, as a bunch of shows targetting each market go on sale.

Let’s start with the stoners. Those guys can prepare to give a purple haze to both the Gorge, where Phish will be playing, and the WaMu Theater, where Ziggy Marley and 311 will play.

The indie rock set will salivate over tickets for the Shins two club dates — I’d guess the Portland band is planning to road-test new material at those small shows. And if indie rockers fail to get tickets to the Shins, there’s no need to cry. They can always grab a pair for Death Cab’s show in Redmond. The amphitheater date features an excellent opener: the New Pornographers.

And then there’s the Jonas Brothers. Admittedly, I don’t have presale information for that show at the Tacoma Dome. The last time the trio came through, it was during a show at Comcast Arena. It basically sold out. Expect a repeat of that in Tacoma.

Ticket prices don’t include service fees. If you have a presale password I don’t, or if you know about a show I don’t, toss some info in the comments section. You will have my thanks.
