The Huskies just concluded by far their shortest practice of spring, calling it quits after only an hour. Steve Sarkisian wanted to take it easy so his players can be fresh for tomorrow's spring game, which gets started at 1 p.m.
Sarkisian said they still have not decided how players will be divided up into two teams, so we'll just have wait and see how the purple and white teams look. A few players won't be on the field, including E.J. Savannah (shoulder) and receiver D'Andre Goodwin (hamstring). Sarkisian doesn't think either injury is serious, but doesn't want to take any chances in April.
Admission to the spring game is free, and parking is free after 12 p.m, but if you get ther earlier than that, you will be charged to park in the UW lots. There is a lot going on tomorrow in addition to the game, so here's the breakdown from gohuskies.com:
COINS FOR KIDS Where: Husky Stadium Husky Student-Athletes will be on site at the Spring Game collecting change. All proceeds will benefit the Seattle Public Schools PE program "School Kids Come First". This program educates elementary and middle school students on the importance of exercise and making healthy decisions. For more information, visit SchoolKidsComeFirst.com.
