EVERETT — A fight Sunday night resulted in one man suffering stab wounds and another being placed behind bars.
The trouble began about 8:30 p.m. in an apartment complex in the 400 block of 85th Place, according to a police affidavit.
The two men got into a fight, and one man was taken to a hospital after being hit in the head with a beer bottle. Police weren’t called. That man returned to the apartment building, continued drinking and sought out the man he’d argued with earlier.
The men started to fight again. This time the man who wasn’t injured used a knife and stabbed the man who had already been to the hospital, causing “severe injury,” the report said.
The injured man was taken to a local emergency room.
The other man was taken to the Snohomish County Jail and booked for investigation of first-degree assault.
