    All-state boys soccer teams: Which local players made it?

    Michael Harris, a midfielder/defender from Shorecrest High School, was named the 2009 Class 3A all-state boys soccer MVP. Harris helped lead Shorecrest to the 3A state championship.
    Honors keep piling up for Michael Harris, a midfielder/defender who helped launch the Shorecrest High School boys soccer team to a state championship late last month.

    Harris was named the 2009 Class 3A all-state MVP. Harris, who verbally committed to play soccer for the University of Washington after he graduates from Shorecrest in 2010, also won the 2008-09 Gatorade Washington Boys Soccer Player of the Year award.

    Harris’ coach at Shorecrest, Drew Thompson, was named 3A all-state Coach of the Year.
