    All-state baseball teams: Which local players made it?

    Meadowdale High School catcher Chase Anselment was picked for the 2009 Class 3A all-state baseball first team. Anselment was also The Herald's All-Area Baseball Player of the Year.
    What a year for the Cedarcrest baseball team! The Red Wolves won the Class 2A state title in late May. Now Cedarcrest star Travis Cook has been named 2A baseball all-state MVP and Cedarcrest coach Scott Goldsberry is 2A Coach of the Year.
