Ways to make your Fourth fantastic

Families can plan on finding fun and fireworks today and Saturday, around Snohomish County.

Parades, some for kids only and some traditional, will march through town in Arlington, Edmonds, Everett, Darrington and Bothell.

Naval Station Everett will host an open house today, with ship tours, air shows and entertainment.

On Saturday, you can find all kinds of hometown fun, picnics, a pancake breakfast or two, a baseball game at Memorial Stadium and fireworks, of course. The big display in Everett is scheduled to begin at 10:20 p.m. over Port Gardner.

The parades begin with the kiddie parade at 4:30 p.m., lining up at Frontier Bank, 525 N. Olympic Ave. The grand parade begins at 5 p.m. on Olympic Avenue.
