Everett man wins $490,000 in state lottery

A typical answer for an awesome event: "I'm just so excited," Jovencio Autor said.
The Everett man won $490,000 playing the Washington Lottery's Hit 5 game.
Autor buys a lottery ticket on his way to work from time to time, lottery officials said. He checked his ticket as he sat down to read the newspaper during his lunch break.
Just as he realized he'd won, his boss walked into the room. He wisely advised Jovencio to quickly sign his winning ticket.
"I was shaking," Jovencio told lottery workers. "I couldn't even write my name!"
He plans on paying bills and possibly retiring at the end of the year. Autor comes from a family of 14 children. He has 73 nieces and nephews and said he hopes to help family members who are in college.
He bought his ticket at the 7-Eleven on Airport Road in Everett. Store owner A.J. Handa said it's the largest prize won at his store.
Handa said normally the store owners receive 1 percent of the prize amount, in this case, $4,900, as a reward for selling the winning ticket.
He is waiting to hear his good news, he said.
