Rescue crews got called just after 5 p.m., Snohomish County Sheriff's spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said. Another climber, who was the victim's climbing partner, contacted rangers in the area and reported the fatal fall. Crews were planning to use a helicopter to recover the body.
