Kids can join in this concert
By Theresa Goffredo Herald Writer
On Saturday, the noted childrens music company that works with the Seattle Symphony will present another in a series of family concerts in Everett, this time introducing a special little musical girl.
The company Let Your Music Shine with Lisa and Linda is hosted by the Everett Symphony Orchestra and continues this series of Family Together Concerettes with Goldyhands.
The way the story goes is that Goldyhands uncle, composer Antonio Vivaldi, has given her many musical gifts, which she is going to share with the Bow family.
This is a highly interactive concert that encourages children to clap and sing while musicians perform on the featured instruments of the show: violin, cello and string bass.
Families can arrive early to the concert to create an art project related to the shows theme with help from Imagine Childrens Museum, which is hosting a pre-show activity with Art Studio on the Go.
This lively concert is 35 minutes long, which fits nicely into a familys busy schedule, said Roger Pawley, Everett Symphony CEO.
