Regarding the letter writer complaining about the school levies in Tuesday’s Herald (“‘Assessed’ values way off these days”):
I don’t claim to have all the answers to his questions, but I do know one at least. Why should he pay because he doesn’t have any children? The answer is simple: Because somebody paid for you.
And if he thinks his parents paid for it all by themselves, he needs to go back to school and learn his math better!
