BOTHELL — Two men were forced from their home by a fire Wednesday evening.
Firefighters were summoned to the 21300 block of First Avenue W. north of Bothell about 6:30 p.m., Snohomish County Fire District 1 spokeswoman Leslie Hynes said.
The Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s Office determined the fire started in the carport and spread into the attic and a portion of the house. Two cars were destroyed. Total damage was estimated at more than $130,000.
Nobody was injured, but the homeowner and his roommate couldn’t stay at the house, Hynes said.
