Mariners option LHP Olson; 12-man pitching staff set

The Mariners have optioned left-handed pitcher Garrett Olson to Class AAA Tacoma, which leaves the team with the dozen pitchers they'll take into the regular season.
For now, at least, because there's always the possibility of an acquisition these last few days before the regular season.
But if the current group sticks, it means right-hander Jesus Colome has made the bullpen, along with right-hander Kanekoa Texeira, the Rule 5 draft acquisition who was one of the best performers in camp.
Wakamatsu plans to begin the season with a 12-man pitching staff (depending on the Cliff Lee suspension situation), which gives them Felix Hernandez, Ian Snell, Ryan Rowland-Smith, Doug Fister and Jason Vargas in the five starting jobs. The relievers will be David Aardsma, Mark Lowe, Brandon League, Shawn Kelley, Sean White, Texeira and Colome.
Olson struggled early in spring training and, midway through camp, injured the ring finger on his throwing hand.
