EVERETT — A man charged in the May 1 killing of Angela D. Beery was booked into the Snohomish County Jail on Wednesday.
James Michael Naudon, 25, was arrested May 5 near San Francisco. He was charged in Snohomish County Superior Court the next day with second-degree murder in connection with Beery’s death.
Beery’s body was found in a sleeping bag alongside a road near Paine Field. The 39-year-old Seattle woman had been stabbed and there was evidence that she’d been strangled, court papers said.
Prosecutors allege that Naudon sent text messages admitting he’d done something terrible that would send him to prison for the rest of his life. A judge ordered him held on $1 million bail.
Everett detectives went to California to bring Naudon back to face legal proceedings.
