The first Boeing 787 jet equipped with General Electric GEnx engines performed taxi tests today at Everett’s Paine Field.
This is the fifth 787 made by Boeing. The jet’s first flight is expected to come as early as tomorrow.
Boeing already has four 787s in flight testing and plans to add one more 787 with GEnx engines. The company hopes to deliver its first 787 by the end of 2010, more than two years behind schedule.
