ARLINGTON – Two motorcyclists were seriously injured late Saturday in a crash east of here.
A Lynnwood man, 57, and a Marysville man, 49, were westbound on Highway 530 east of Oso shortly after 9 p.m., according to a Washington State Patrol memo. They crossed the centerline into the eastbound lanes and struck an oncoming car, trooper Keith Leary said.
Both men were taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Their conditions were not immediately known.
The driver of the eastbound car, a 62-year-old Shelton woman, was not seriously hurt.
“With the nice weather, we are seeing an increased number of motorcycles on the roadways,” Leary said. ”We need to remind riders to make safety their first priority while riding.”
