EVERETT — Seven people were arrested for trespassing Tuesday after police found them inside a vacant house.
Fire crews were called to an empty home at Lombard Avenue and 33rd Street about noon when someone reported smoke coming from the house. The crews found no fire: The smoke-like cloud came from a fire extinguisher that went off, Everett police Sgt. Robert Goetz said.
Police found seven people inside, four of them minors, he said. They were cited for trespassing.
Two of the youngest were booked into the Denny Juvenile Justice Center in connection with other cases.
