Hard-hitting linebacker Mitch Haldane has played a big role in the Mountlake Terrace High School football team's rise the last couple years.
Haldane, a team captain who also plays tight end, helped the Hawks make the first postseason appearance in program history last year.
This season Haldane and his Terrace pals are 2-1 going into their Wesco 3A game against Meadowdale, also 2-1, on Friday in Edmonds. In this video interview I recorded today at Terrace's practice, Haldane talks about Terrace's rise, Hawks quarterback Hunter Rook and the always tough Meadowdale Mavericks.
