The new National Soccer Coaches Association of America boys soccer rankings were released today, and the Glacier Peak Grizzlies received lots of love.
Not included in the previous NSCAA national rankings, Glacier Peak is now rated No. 11 in the country. In addition, the Grizzlies are No. 2 in the regional rankings, five spots higher than in the previous poll. After losing 3-1 versus Glacier Peak last week, Shorecrest slipped from fourth to 15th in the national poll and tumbled from No. 1 to No. 3 in the region.
The other regionally ranked local teams are Jackson (sixth) and Marysville-Pilchuck (eighth).
The next NSCAA boys soccer rankings will be released on April 26.
