Soldiers’ care boxes

It’s planned from 10 a.m. to noon at 1316 Fifth St. There will be a football scrimmage between Snohomish, Glacier Peak, Cascade and Mercer Island high schools.
Members of all four armed services will be in attendance.
If you plan to go, please take along items for care packages for those serving in Afghanistan.
For instance, they need canned goods, small board games, toiletries, powdered drink packets, batteries, paperback books and baby wipes.
