Another honor for Glacier Peak's Neale

Glacier Peak sophomore Amy-Eloise Neale has been named the Gatorade Washington Girls Track and Field Athlete of the Year.
A two-time Gatorade Washington Girls Cross Country Runner of the Year, Neale won the 1,600- and 3,200-meter races at the 3A state meet in May. Neale ranks in the top 10 nationally in the 1,500, 1,600, mile and 2,000 steeplechase. Neale was second in the 2,000 steeplechase at the New Balance Nationals in June. Her time of 6 minutes, 42 seconds set a sophomore national record.
