Vote for All-Area girls soccer player of the year




Who was the best girls soccer player in the area this season? Make your voice heard and help The Herald decide who is the All-Area girls soccer player for the year for the 2011 season.

Here are the nominees:

Alisa Sagdahl, Meadowdale, forward
The Mavericks forward was a first-team All-Wesco selection and led Meadowdale to a fourth-place finish in the 3A state tournament.

Cara Wegner, Jackson, forward
The Timberwolves forward was a key component on a potent Jackson offensive attack.

Miranda Head, Lakewood, goalkeeper
The Cougars goalie was a first-team All-Cascade selection and holds every goalkeeping record at Lakewood. She had a .67 goals against average.

Morgan Green, Snohomish, midfielder
The Panthers midfielder had six goals and five assists in leading Snohomish to a Wesco North championship.

Ally Beck, Archbishop Murphy, defender
The Wildcats defender was voted the Cascade Conferencce defender of the year and has been a first-team All-Cascade selection four straight years.
