Fire burns barn in Clearview

CLEARVIEW -- A smoky barn fire was reported in Clearview on Thursday morning.

The fire was reported just after 10 a.m. in the 10200 block 180th Street SE, east of Highway 9.

Firefighters arrived to find smoke coming from the eaves and a small fire in a back corner of the building, said Autumn Waite, spokeswoman for Snohomish County Fire District 7.

"There was thick smoke throughout the building," she said.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. No injuries were reported.

Crews also responded from Snohomish, Monroe and Woodinville.
