Prep girls basketball: Archbishop Murphy 53, South Whidbey 28

LANGLEY -- Archbishop Murphy's 21-3 first-quarter lead all but sealed the Wildcats' seventh Cascade Conference victory. The Wildcats cruised the rest of the way thanks to nine points from Beth Carlson and 10 from Haley Dye, who knocked down a pair of 3s. The Falcons' Hayley Newman lead all scorers with 12 points.
