All-You-Can-Eat Buffet: The Mill Creek Senior Center is having an All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast to raise funds for the center. People can come anytime between 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., Thursday, at the Merrill Gardens Retirement Community, 14905 Bothell-Everett Highway, Mill Creek. There will be waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, coffee, tea and juice. The suggested donation is $10. For further information, call the Senior Center main office at 425-948-7170.
Pancake Breakfast: 8 to 10:30 a.m. every third Saturday of the month at the East County Senior Center, 276 Sky River Parkway in Monroe. Enjoy a meal of pancakes, eggs, ham, sausage, coffee, milk and juice prepared and served by volunteers. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children younger than 12. Blood and guts with the Pacific Science Center: From 10 a.m., to noon, Saturday, Snohomish Library, 311 Maple Ave. Learn about the human brain, analyze X-rays and assemble skeletons. Caregiver classes: The Stillaguamish Senior Center is offering a six-week educational series for unpaid family caregivers to learn how to better care for others and themselves. Classes start from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Wednesdays from Jan. 18 to Feb. 22, at the center’s multi-purpose room, 18308 Smokey Point Blvd., Arlington. Parenting classes: YWCA and Pathways Counseling are holding CPS- and court-approved parenting classes starting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18 to March 21, Classes are free for income-eligible families.
