DENVER — A man tried to throw glitter on Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney as he greeted supporters in Denver following Colorado’s caucuses.
Security pulled Romney back from the crowd and the man was immediately whisked away Tuesday night.
“Glitter bombing” has been used by some activists to protest a politician’s opposition to same-sex marriage.
