Two different sets of teenagers reported being assaulted in two Lynnwood parks Sunday night, according to police. None of those assaulted suffered serious injuries, Lynnwood police spokeswoman Shannon Sessions said. The incidents appeared to be unrelated, she said.

In the first incident, two girls reported being assaulted in Lynndale Park, at the west end of the city along 76th Avenue W. and Olympic View Drive. The assault took place at 10:55 p.m., the girls told police.

The second incident took place 10 minutes later at Scriber Lake Park, along 196th Street SW, a couple of miles east of Lynndale Park, Sessions said. Three boys said they were assaulted.

No further information was released regarding those assaulted or their possible attackers.
