EVERETT -- A man suspected of robbing an Everett bank on Monday afternoon was in handcuffs before nightfall.
The robbery was reported about 1:40 p.m. at the U.S. Bank along Hewitt Avenue, Everett police Sgt. Robert Goetz said.
Police determined that the suspect had gotten into a cab, Goetz said. They were able to track the cab and catch up with it in the Marysville area.
They arrested a 33-year-old man who was riding in the cab, Goetz said. The man's hometown wasn't confirmed Monday, but police believe he's not from the area.
No injuries were reported.
