The Washington Stealth announced on Thursday that Cam Sedgwick has been re-signed after being temporarily released by the team last week to make create a roster spot. The Stealth also placed forward Cliff Smith on the Injured Reserve. Both moves are pending approval by the National Lacrosse League.
Sedgwick is expected to be in the lineup this weekend for the Stealth’s home-and-home series with the Colorado Mammoth.
Smith went down with an upper-body injury in last Saturday’s 14-9 victory over the Toronto Rock. Being placed on IR means a player must miss six weeks. The roster move is retroactive to last Saturday, meaning Smith would be eligible to return to the team on April 14.
