Eat: Foundation to host breakfast
The Lake Stevens Education Foundation is holding a breakfast aimed to benefit the foundation from 6:45 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. March 15 at Lake Stevens Educational Service Center, 12309 22nd St. NE, Lake Stevens. The community is invited to enjoy breakfast while hearing musical entertainment by Lake Stevens students and learning about projects happening in the schools.

Help: Support Maltby Food Bank
The Maltby Food Bank is scheduling a charity auction and dinner to raise funds from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. March 24 at Willows Lodge, 14580 NE 145th St., Woodinville. Tickets costs are $100 per person or $700 for a table of eight. Tickets will be sold at the door, online at maltbyfoodbank.org, or from Kristine Willson at 206-854-1182 .

Runs benefit those with special needs
Northwest Special Families and Northshore YMCA will host a 5K and 10K at 7 a.m. March 31 at the Seattle Times North Creek printing facility, 19200 120th Ave NE, Bothell. The race is to benefit programs that help people with special needs. Costs are $30 per individual, $50 for families or $30 for team members if you register by March 22. Participants can register online at www.CanDo5K.org,, in person at various sponsor locations and through email. Races are at different times. Visit the website and go to the schedule page. All donations are tax-deductible.

Auction: Friendship Adventures auction
Friendship Adventures will host an auction to benefit the organization at 6 p.m. March 31 at the Lynnwood Convention Center, 3711 196th St. SW, Lynnwood. Tickets cost $100 and includes a formal dinner and beverages. Business causal attire is required.
Friendship Adventures is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the quality of life for people with developmental disabilities in the Greater Puget Sound area. Give: YWCA gathering baskets
The YWCA is collecting spring baskets to benefit homeless and low-income children in its shelter and housing programs.
Baskets can be dropped off at the YWCA in 3301 Broadway, Everett, and at 6027 208th St. SW., Lynnwood, until April 2.

Attend: Relay for Life benefit show
Relay for Life of Arlington will host a comedy and magic show featuring Bruce Meyers to benefit the organization at 3 p.m. May 6 at Arlington High School, 18821 Crown Ridge Blvd., Arlington. Tickets cost $10 per person and can be purchased at the door or by calling 425-387-5180.
