SEATTLE -- Terrence Ross scored a career-high 32 points and top-seeded Washington beat fourth-seeded Northwestern 76-55 on Friday night in the second round of the National Invitation Tournament.

Washington started the second half on 13-4 run behind Ross. He made three 3-pointers during the spurt, equaling his career high of six 3-pointers with 15:02 left.
Northwestern led by eight points in the first half, but Washington rallied for a 39-32 halftime lead.
