Auditorium dedication: Marysville’s 92nd Street Church of Christ will dedicate its new auditorium building Sunday. Volunteers from the church put in many hours to help build the structure, which includes a 300-seat auditorium and an event center that can hold about 160 people. Dedication Sunday begins at 9:30 a.m. with Bible study, followed by morning worship at 10:30 a.m. A catered dinner will follow the service. A 2 p.m. hymn sing will be followed by the dedication program at 3 p.m. There will be refreshments and tours. The church is at 4226 92nd St., just off State Avenue, Marysville. Adult Purim Karaoke Night fundraiser: 6:30-9:30 p.m. tonight, Weyerhaeuser Room, Everett Station, 3201 Smith Ave. The party is for members and friends of Everett’s Temple Beth Or. The Jewish Festival of Purim celebrates the Book of Esther, in which Jews are saved by Queen Esther and her wise Uncle Mordechai versus the evil Haman. The festival celebrates survival and joy. Costumes encouraged.
Concert to help orphans: A “Concert for the Value of Human Life: Remembering Six Million Ophans in Ethiopia” will be 4 p.m. today at Mountain View Community Church, 12033 Seattle Hill Road, Snohomish. Featured will be Sonus Boreal, a women’s choir, Reflections School of Dance, stories of an orphan and poetry. Free, but offering will be taken for Youth With a Mission to buy food and baby formula for an orphanage in Ethiopia.
Disaster readiness: B-Ready North County is scheduled 9 a.m.-1 p.m. today at Jake’s House Prayer and Worship Center, 18824 Smokey Point Blvd., Arlington. Michael Lienau, Pat Hamman and Shahram Hadian will talk about preparing for disasters as well as church partnerships for regional response. Free, but free-will offering will be taken. Snohomish County Prayer Breakfast: Annual Good Friday breakfast sponsored by the YMCA of Snohomish County is scheduled for 6:45-8:30 a.m. April 6 in the Edward D. Eggstravaganza: Bethany Christian Assembly will hold its annual Eggstravaganza, a free community event, 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. April 7. The church is at 2715 Everett Ave., Everett. Event includes an egg hunt with 20,000 eggs, inflatable toys, pony rides, snacks, prizes and a visit from the Easter Bunny (bring your own camera).
