UW women hosting San Diego in WNIT

SEATTLE -- The University of Washington men's basketball team might be heading out of town this weekend for next week's semifinals of the National Invitational Tournament in New York City, but that doesn't mean the madness is over at Hec Edmundson Pavilion.
UW will host at least one more postseason game, a quarterfinal of the Women's NIT, this Sunday at noon. The Husky women (20-13) will host the University of San Diego, which beat Texas Tech 60-51 on Thursday night.
The entire WNIT is played at home sites, so it's conceivable that UW could host one, or possibly two, more games if the Huskies win Sunday.
