Your feet might already know this, but it’s time again for the annual Everett Philharmonic’s Spring Fling.
It’s an evening of timeless tunes from Gershwin, dancing and a gourmet dinner at the Everett Events Center ballroom.
The evening begins with a champagne reception where you can mingle while listening to the sweet sounds of The Curators.
Guests can then sit down to a choice of three gourmet meals: chicken, pork or Mediterranean vegetable manicotti. All dinners include salad, artisan bread, dessert, wine and coffee.
There will be a mini concert by the Everett Philharmonic, lead by music director and conductor Paul-Elliott Cobbs.
Next up is popular entertainer and soprano Nadine Shanti who will take the mic and lead the audience through a suite of Gershwin hits.
The song list includes “A Foggy Night in London Town,” “Fascinating Rhythm,” “I Got Rhythm” and a medley that includes: “Someone to Watch Over Me,” “Rhapsody in Blue” and “‘S Wonderful.”
The dance floor will beckon at this point.
“Spring Fling” is 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Sunday at the Everett Events Center ballroom, 2000 Hewitt Ave., Everett. Tickets are $70 each. Tickets are available online at www.everettphil.org or call 206-270-9729.
