Sweet Adelines: The Seattle Shores Chorus, a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, will perform at 5 p.m. today at 92nd Street Church of Christ, 4226 92nd St. NE, Marysville. Holocaust Remembrance Day event: Everett’s Temple Beth Or will present a Holocaust Remembrance Day event at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Young Life for special needs: A meeting of a new Snohomish County Young Life Capernaum club will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Northview Community Church, 18303 Bothell-Everett Highway, Mill Creek. Young Life Capernaum is a Christian organization providing mentors and activities for young people with mental and physical disabilities. Young Life auction: The annual West Snohomish County Young Life Auction and Fiesta Dinner is scheduled for 5-9 p.m. April 21 at New Life Center, 6830 Highland Dr., Everett. Monroe sale: Monroe Congregational Church, United Church of Christ will host a spring sale 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. April 21 in the Fellowship Hall. Bethany Taste of the Northwest: The Bethany of the Northwest Foundation will hold its annual Taste of the Northwest from 5-8 p.m. April 27 at Everett’s Comcast Arena, 2000 Hewitt Ave. The event, which includes wine tasting, appetizers, a silent auction and live music, benefits elderly and disabled residents of Bethany’s nonprofit care facilities in Everett. Refusing to be Enemies: is the title of a lunch and presentation at noon April 30 at Everett First Presbyterian Church, 2936 Rockefeller Ave. Speakers are Daoud Nasser and Mark Braverman from Tent of Nations, an educational and environmental farm near Bethlehem in the Palestinian West Bank. National Day of Prayer: The Stanwood-Camano observance of the National Day of Prayer will be noon-1 p.m. May 3 in the Haggen parking lot, 26603 72nd Ave. NW, Stanwood. The theme is “One Nation Under God.” The event will include presentation of colors and leading of the Pledge of Allegiance by Boy Scouts; praise and worship by a local worship band; and introduction to prayer by area church leaders. Pascha service: St. Thomas Orthodox Church in Snohomish will join Orthodox churches worldwide in celebrating Pascha, which is Easter in the Orthodox Church, a week after other Christian churches celebrate Easter. The Pascha service begins at 11:30 p.m. tonight and lasts about an hour. After the service, a feast is held to break the six-week Lenten fast. Community Worship Service: First Baptist Church of Everett hosts a Community Worship Service the third Friday of each month in the main worship center, 1616 Pacific Ave. This month’s service is at 10:30 a.m. Friday, with music by the Rev. John Sinkevitch and a message from pastor Brian Harpell. Upcoming services will be at 10:30 a.m. May 18, June 15 and July 20.

Living Interfaith Church: will honor the Baha’i holiday of Ridvan, a holy festival, at its service at 11 a.m. April 22. The 12 days celebrate Baha’u’llah’s announcement that he is a messenger of God for this day. A guest will speak about these sacred days. The service will also include a remembrance of Earth Day. Services are in the Alderwood Middle School cafeteria, 20000 28th Ave. W., Lynnwood.

Shabbat meditation service: Rabbi Jessica Marshall will conduct a Shabbat meditation service at 7:30 p.m. April 27 at Temple Beth Or, 3215 Lombard Ave., Everett. The rabbi will lead guided imagery, meditation and focusing on breath. 425-259-7125.
