Kamilia Dunsky plans to talk about the stresses commonly experienced by family caregivers, and offer strategies for managing stress and avoiding burnout even in the most difficult care giving situations. Ellis Waller Walker plans to help caregivers see the positive in stressful situations. The free workshop requires registration by calling Debbie Cook at 360-653-4551.
Lake Stevens: Spring musical
Lake Stevens High School students are set to perform their spring musical.
Performances of "Chicago" are scheduled at 7 tonight, Saturday, Sunday, Thursday, April 27 and 28 in the Lake Stevens High School Performing Arts Center. One matinee show is planned at 2 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $10.
"Chicago" features students Audrey Fletcher as Velma Kelly, Mandy Henrichsen as Roxie Hart, Kevin Loth as Billy Flynn, Lauren Senechal as Matron Mama Morton, and Eric Zanoni as Amos Hart.
The show contains mature subject matter and is not suitable for all audiences. The school is located at 2908 113th Ave. NE in Lake Stevens.

Sultan: Grand marshal nominations
The Sky Valley Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for this year's grand marshal. Anyone who has worked or volunteered to help improve the community can be nominated. The grand marshal leads the Shindig Grand Parade on July 14.
Deadline for nominations is Wednesday. Send them to chamber director Debbie Copple at Debbie@skyvalleyvic.net or by mail to Shindig Parade Grand Marshal, P.O. Box 46, Sultan, WA 98294.
The chamber is also looking for the loggers' grand marshal, who must be someone involved in the logging industry.
