GRANITE FALLS — Logan Thomas batted 2-for-2, scoring three runs and reached base in all five plate appearances, Peyton Spencer was 3-for-5 with three runs scored, three RBI and three stolen bases and Jamie Alexander (1-for-2) hit a triple for the second consecutive game and drove in three runs as Granite Falls defeated South Whidbey in the Cascade Conference game. With the win, the Tigers clinched a district berth. South Whidbey’s Alex Kubeska batted 2-for-3 with a home run and a triple, driving in four runs.
